The other thread has gotten very long and started to wind down. I think this might be a good time to start a thread for sit'em / start'em type questions, maybe other inseason moves as well.

BRAG: started O Hudson at UTIL over Mags or Johjima yesterday.

Here's one: I have a roster spot and could pick up Bonser for a start today against the Orioles. I'm currently in last in my league in WHIP and ERA (thanks, D Lowe and F Rodney!). Bonser has one career start vs. the O's (2 ER in 7 IP, W) and had a good spring. Worth playing him? I'm leaning towards yes.

Yeah I know. First season of fantasy, and D Lowe is unfortunately my best starter.

Crain / Rivera at least stopped the bleeding a little bit.

EDIT: Regardless, do you think Bonser's a good bet to have a decent outing? Twins are around -130, o/u 9.5. Cabrera going for the O's.

Brag : I have Jose Reyes, Travis Hafner, Garrett Atkins, Derrek Lee and Roy Oswalt in my 14 team 2p2 Keeper League.

Pick up Boof Bonser, but dont drop him after the start. If Lowe is your best starter, than Bonser will undoubtedly help your team.

And try not to make any major roster decisions in the first few weeks. Just play your best players, and re-evaluate where your team's weaknesses are after a few weeks. Use your last roster spot (you probably have a replacable player or 2) to gamble with the young guys off to the hot starts.

My SP are Lowe, Maddux, F Garcia, J Vasquez, and R Johnson. With Johnson on the DL I picked up John Maine and I also have Cliff Lee on the DL. I'm hoping Maine and Bonser turn out to be good finds.

SP is my big weakness, other than that I like my lineup:

Mauer
Giambi
Utley
F Lopez
A Ramirez
M Ramirez
Damon
Drew

with Mags, Cameron, Johjima, Helms and O Hudson on the bench.

My league is a 5x5 head-to-head league (this is the one where you win each CATEGORY every week, not just one overall win, so you can go 10-0 in a week or 8-2 or 9-0-1)

Scoring Categories are:

R, HR, OBP, SLG, SB x ERA, WHIP, SV, K, W

I was offered a trade.

He would give me Mariano Rivera and Troy Glaus for Jimmy Rollins and Curt Schilling.

Glaus can be put in the SS spot in my league.

Thoughts?

Currently my relief pitchers are: Chris Ray, Valverde, Billy Wagner, Cordero.

Starters: Sheets (w00t), Escobar, Lackey, Schilling, Bonderman, Anthony Reyes.

Depends on who else you have on offense. He may be trying to pry away Schilling at a time where it looks like he sucks, but I think there's a decent chance he will suck.

I'm a noob so don't listen to me too much regarding fantasy, but as a Sox fan I'm not high on Schilling this year.
