Re: 2+2er calls my \"resteal\" of UTG raise on the bubble with QJo
[ QUOTE ]
Awesome thread. Love the people pretending to be Wildcows. It's me; Betgo and UCLA can verify that if anyone cares. So many reasons for the call..... In no particular order - I know how Betgo plays, he could be making a bubble move - I'm getting 1.7 to 1 or so - It's a $10 rebuy, gambooool - This was halfway through my second 7 + 7 - Betgo put a beat on me a few months ago, bubbled me off a FT , AA < 66 These all seemed like good reasons at the time. I probably either need to drink more or less when I play. Not sure which. [/ QUOTE ] Yeh, I figured it was my image that caused you to call. Due to my play, posts, or just being a regular? Sorry about calling your AA resteal with 66 on the FT bubble of the $100r. I had plenty of chips and I thought I had pot odds. Granted, I know you are likely to be stealing on the bubble and I am likely to make a resteal play on the bubble. I don't think I have any reason to think I have a lot of FE, since you probably aren't usually raising a hand as weak as QJo UTG, so I should have a reasonably strong hand and I don't think you are 1.7-1. Any hand between two 2+2 HSMTT players belongs in HSMTT. Also, this was pretty late in the tournament and $10r can be close $100 FO. |

Re: 2+2er calls my \"resteal\" of UTG raise on the bubble with QJo
Bet,
Wasn't implying you misplayed the 66/AA hand at all. Just was a memorable BB. And all kidding aside, my JQ play here was bad. Truly, I was hammered, and I recall seeing I was getting the odds to call unless you had JJ+, and would survive if I lost....so, voila. Standard donk play. No way I make it against a random player FYI. |
