Postflop is fine once you get there.

Check to see how much he steals, and if he is any tighter utg than button to try to help get a better range on him.

also pay attention to how often he calls when people reraise him.

Over 200 hands, positional stats don't mean much. Especially if you're putting money in on half your hands. Calling 3-bets is also a hard thing to quantify as people don't 3-bet light much in these games.

Edit: what do you mean by: once you get there?

Would you fold/call PF?

200 should be enough to see if he is paying attention at all to position. I just want to see if his vpip is roughly the same all across the board.

Pre i raise or call, never fold.

Just calling in position with a good hand with high cards is fine vs a guy you cant seem to win a pot vs.

Pre-flop is fine. I would think long and hard (in the 8 seconds you have ) about calling the C/minR on the flop. Low agg factor scares me as does raising UTG pre. It'd be hugely useful to know a WSD% or at least a small read there. I've run into a ton of donks who have similar preflop stats but tighten the [censored] up after the flop.

I insta-shove flop, and see him call with any A and any draw that he raised with.

You're gonna shove $170 into a $50 pot because you flopped TPGK? That's mind-bottling.

I assume he meant shove to the c/r. Which, is also what I would do.

This is not how you get the money from this type of player. This guy obviously plays too many hands and bluffs too much and all that jazz, so you're going to make your money from this guy most effectively in hands when he has the lead the whole way and tries to bluff himself out of a situation. He's likely not an idiot, and when it comes to playing for stacks in a 3bet ace-high flop where you've shown a massive amount of strength, even a pretty average player will probably be able to put you on about what you have here.

Suppose you had flat called preflop and decided to call down all on this board. I think with money going in that way you're much more likely to be ahead (not advocating that line necessarilly, just saying it's better when you haven't announced you have a big ace, etc.)

Lastly, I check this flop a lot. He is crazy, he wants to bluff so let him, and I'd prefer a medium large pot here as opposed to a huge one.
