Any [censored] omaha player knows to chuck KK77 and that was my bloody point. Surely you agree with that

[/ QUOTE ]

This is simply not true. In your baby stakes world where very often a raise is only AAxx it might be true but not in the high stakes game.

KK77ds is a pretty [censored] Omaha HI/LO hand... but in PLO? A very nice hand. In PLO if you're ever folding it to a single preflop raise then you're perhaps the worst PLO player alive.

some amusing quotes from marty palin from previous threads

"Good point OP, Aba simply isnt as good as he or the forums think. He's good, but he's perceived to be way better than he is."

"same ABA that had a 2 mill downswing, pure class"

What % of roll? Probably should have bought a Veyron rather than going to that game, eh?

I hate that call on the river. That is a donk call, not calling ABA a donk, he's amazing player no doubt.

But even knowing it's Farha playing, he was first to act, on a paired board in Omaha. Yes, he's capable of making this bluff certainly. But considering he check-called each street, would lead me to believe he either had a set or two pair mixed with maybe a flush draw too. So when he fires out 400k on the river on a paired board, you gotta be hesitant, especially since he checked each street.

I agree, since it's Farha making the play, makes it totally different and harder. But 400k is alot, no matter how balla you are, and in Omaha, you got to be careful... even if you are Farha .

But don't get this post wrong, Aba is crazy good and would easily take me out (actually I've played him in 25/50 omaha and won a few pots).

That river call is kind of disgusting ..
