yes push them both.

a)he can have a bluff in hand 1
b)you are in great shape against QQ/JJ and almost as good shape against KK
c)if you're folding hand 1, what ARE you calling with?

and for hand 2, you have an overpair, it's HU, you also have 6 near-nut outs if you're behind which is not terrible...so get it in...

AKs hand:
No one seemed to mention that checking behind IS a valid option. Against a good player that is able to play back at you, a check on the flop is not a bad move. You are getting a free draw to the nuts, so why not take it? If you bet the flop here, be prepared to go to the felt. Going to the felt here is not bad, because you have outs, but only do it if you believe you have fold equity against this villain. That is, if you think there is a chance he will fold to your 3-bet shove. Otherwise you are probably getting your money in when you are behind.

QQ hand:
What about just leading the flop? Its not a common move used by 2p2 TAG types but it can be effective in some situations. Just lead the flop and take it down if he missed (which he probably did). Its a decent size pot, just win it right there. A c/r is not bad either, you may get an extra bet out of him that way. If you c/r though, be prepared to go to the felt. I don't like calling here because 1/2 the deck is a scare card for you..

1 is an easy shove. You beat other lower combo draws and ur a slight underdog/fav vs some overpairs. I would almost never check behind on that flop unless the guy is a NIT and even though i would mostly bet. We have a monster that beats all but the tightest of ranges.

2 i think is a call. I dislike C/R a lot because your often crushed.

He's surely never putting in that much on a stone cold bluff in hand 1. However due to our equity against worse draws and overpairs in general I think we have to shove once we bet the flop, although we will be getting it in as a dog fairly often imo. I think with these stack sizes checking the flop behind is not a bad option. However given the opponent's high post-flop aggression factor it is easy to surmise that he will often raise our flop bet rather than flat calling it and so being in a situation where we can shove over a c/r is very nice here.

Second hand is tough since a good player is not often betting air/missed overcards in this spot having re-raised an UTG open. So we're behind fairly often and he's never folding better to a shove. That said, getting this one to showdown cheaply isn't gonna happen so I think on this board we have to shove or fold our queens. I probably stick it in but honestly don't mind a fold on this particular board.

1. shove
2. shove

[/ QUOTE ]hand 2 I could get convinced is a fold against some 3 betting ranges.

Right, but not against a "really good" players threebetting range.

[/ QUOTE ]
disagree, if the definition of "really good" is big winner, I have seen huge winners with nitty 3 betting stats.

hand 1 - i prob always shove here, but generally find i am behind the majority of the time, as i doubt villain is EVER bluffing here. With stack sizes as they are checking this flop is a viable option, though possibly bad for metagame reasons.

hand 2- shove. at least we have outs!
