Default Standard spots versus really good players

I have played 2 hands which are probably standard for most players here but i'd like to hear your lines.

1.
NL1K

Villain is a solid TAG and runs at 25/20/4
We have no real history.
Villain has got 1,65k and i cover.

he opens to 40 (CO) and i pick up A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] on the button and reraise to 135. He calls, everyone else folds

Flop T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Pot 285
He checks. i bet 165, he raises to 750. whats my plan?
I am certainly not ahead of anything but I am getting almost 2:1 with him having ~700 behind.

2.
NL1k
villain is even better than the one before (24/20/3.5)
Both of us have got 100bb
I open Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG, he reraise potsize on button.
I call.

Flop J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
I check, he bets almost 3/4 of the pot, my plan?
should i just stick it in and hope that he has got AK, AQ? I doubt he has got AJ here at all.

1.Most certainly hit his set so to overs wont win it for you its whether your willing to push to your diamond i would prob push.

2. Again tough spot sway towards push

why would you push #1 just for your flushdraw? i was getting 2:1 on the flop and he had 700 behind. so assuming he will never fold to my push i was getting about 3:2 on my money

Not shoving 1 is pretty sick

yup, easy shoves, maybe they appear good since you reraised pre/ flop nhe NFD and are scared of getting it in? (IE: they knocking you off pots??)
If your read is good, I think you have to find the middle in both of these hands, however hand 1 is almost never a close decision and hand 2 I could get convinced is a fold against some 3 betting ranges.

Right, but not against a "really good" players threebetting range.

ok, thanks for all your replies
i still don't know why everyone seems to like a push in #1
he is offering pot odds of 1965:1350 which means that i need at least 40% equity to play this for stacks (i certainly dont have any foldequity here)
so what hands can he have here? 87dd, 98, TT, 88, 99...
against almost none of these hands i have anywhere near 40% equity, so why push? sorry if i am just too stupid but i still dont get it
