[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] What about just jamming the turn? [/ QUOTE ] Personally, I show up here with the flush a lot... depends how often you think he's two barreling [/ QUOTE ] Stack sizes are awkward for this [/ QUOTE ] No, stack sizes are awkward for a raise to $1k. |

Re: bluffing, floating and being retarded
oh man this is not good imo borderlining on awful.... the turn raise size is terrible, the flop isa bad one to float, everything just feels forced and out of place

Re: bluffing, floating and being retarded
flop float meh seems alright, but fold most of the time.
turn I would prefer jamming it compared to what you did. Making it $989 is awkward. |

Re: bluffing, floating and being retarded
Love the play, I would just jam though. I think this should be part of everyones repertoire.
I think he should be good enough to lay down a set here, right? Your hand looks like a flush to me. |

Re: bluffing, floating and being retarded
Game flow and player dependant, but for the most part, I think the turn play if aweful. If it isn't pure air on his part, it's lost funds.

Re: bluffing, floating and being retarded
not really. air or something strong 97% of the time. i'd have to think he was very stragithforward and calling stationy to bet fold AQ, or KK, say

Re: bluffing, floating and being retarded
I don't know... stealing the lead on the flop and firing a 2nd barrel on that turn card screams big hand to me.. seems like a lot of hands got there. I just feel the range of hands that wont release on a raise is relatively wide.
