And you can do group chats which (depending on your setting for that particular chat) either pop or don't pop up when a new message arrives. So it's kind of work friendly, you could be doing your office desk job and not get disturbed every time a new message arrives.

I like it better than AIM/MSN/ICQ because it feels less cluttered; no ads; nicer UI (maybe subjective).
