Re: Worst turn card in the deck, give up?
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] i'd b/f. there are a ton of straight draws he can have [/ QUOTE ] what's the plan on a river blank if villain just call the turn bet, b/f again? [/ QUOTE ] b/f on a blank river seems extremely awful. A heart draw folds, a jack raises, an ace is either a chop or a loss. Check/call seems like the only way to go [/ QUOTE ] Makes sense, seems to happen a lot that I go for the b/f on the turn and end up calling a river bet behind the whole time because the so and so didn't raise the T for me. Then I wonder how many of the turn raises are draws and how many of the turn folds are hands that might have bluffed the river. I also wonder how much I can discount the importnace of charging the draws when they probably will bet them anyway. So I go all weak and feeble and check-call the turn, then I wonder how much I suck. chez |

Re: Worst turn card in the deck, give up?
I don't get this hand. A passive player called us on the flop, so what. We have top pair and the LPP could have lots of stuff here. I think a bet fold is by far the best line on the turn.

Re: Worst turn card in the deck, give up?
??? People call here with pocket pairs and a seven here all day. Also Brodaway straights and 9 10 etc. I think check folding is terrible.
