If by young internet pro you mean a good player, even in a 2/3 chip game I think it's a fold. It's possibly h/u and the most 3 way. 44 is a pretty crappy hand when a 4 doesn't flop.

As played you flopped a monster. Take the BB's invitation and bet a lot until you know you're cooked.
