Checkup
Bellagio 30 game. UTG who has the looks and mannerisms of a young internet pro raises, folds to me in the SB and I call with black 44, BB calls.
Flop is K94r. I bet, BB calls, UTG raises, I call so I can bet-3-bet the turn, BB now 3-bets, UTG tanks and relucantly calls. BB is young, friendly, Western Canadian, seems reasonable, tight and less aggressive than a standard internet player. How many bets do I want to go on the big streets and how do I get there? Assume that UTG is folding if the turn isn't an Ace or broadway. |

Re: Checkup
He's 2x as likely to have K9 as 99, and that's assuming UTG has a K.
I think the move is to c/r the turn and then call down a 3b or fold depending on your read. Between that and cap now and lead calldown the turn. Your choice depends on how likely UTG is to make a good laydown. And if there is any chance that tightie doesn't 3b 99 to a turn c/r, then that becomes the obvious choice, but that sounds very unlikely. |

Re: Checkup
I think AK is very possible for the bb.

EDIT: Actually, joker, K9 might be wanting TT-QQ to come along, or hoping a K good kicker raises so he can 3b, so I'm not so sure now.... |

[/ QUOTE ] I don't think that the action here does much yet to define his hand. This board is pretty dry and K9 can think he has the nuts just as easily as 99. |

I'd probly lean towards the cap, lead/calldown option so i don't have to consider folding. |
