Re: Possible to fold KK here?
Just to illustrate my point, I played a 10/180, and the very first hand I wake up with KK in the SB. It goes early raise to 60, button re-raises, to about 180 I think, I think a little and decide to shove since I figure I won't get credit for anything so good, BB cold calls(!), early raiser folds, button insta-calls. Well, I am thinking I am dead - one of them is going to show me AA for sure. Nope, they turn over 66 and AQ. K on flop - triple up. Thank you - come again. Never fold KK vs a field of idiots.

Can't basically the only hands he can have in this spot KK+? [/ QUOTE ] All due respect, this is a $10 tournament and villain's range is not absolutely localized to KK+. Villain could have AA, KK, AK, QQ, JJ, or a slew of other hands, including the all powerful "no way he'll call me and risk half his stack" of spades. I fold this approximately never. --TFGoose |
