kerowo :"You always consider the range of hands your opponent has, that's why you usually see something like, "given villains range" right around the value bet, or it has already been covered, or it actually doesn't matter. You have a tendency to give opponents the best possible hand instead of a range of hands that usually includes lots of hands worse than yours"

yup and i said it previously in a tread ,that was 1 of my main problem(didnt thad read on it yet),playing with range instaed of specific hand is a thing i need to learn and cant w8 to receive mathematic in poker by chen..
i heard it speak of it in his book.

if u ever have a book discussing this peculiar concept(beside the book i already talk about) i would glady take any hint from u..
later

I read most of SSHE and got the rest from playing a lot of hands and getting mocked here. Experience will help as will thinking about it more. Try to avoid thinking that everyone plays like you do, which is the first mistake people make when they start trying to put people on ranges of hands.

I don't know any real secret to it Montreal. You look at the board you look at the action and you starting thinking about what hands fit, the more you think about the better. But really, you should be asking someone who can do it before the c/r on the river which is just about when I'm certain what they have.

i c/c the turn, given his check i am going to b/f on the river. He probably has a pair of kings or maybe flopped two pair and thus has no clubs or a single low club to go along with his king that he can call a BB on.
