Re: live 5/10-Mr. C gets 5 bet with KK
Since this is a live hand, can we get a physical description of the villain? Old? Young?
Making any assumptions on villain's 5-betting range in a Foxwoods 5/10 is pretty absurd. How does anyone know he isn't steaming from BJ? Or steaming from a NL beat, which lead to his game change? I can't fathom folding this flop (which I would have bet or check-raised) in a Foxwoods 5/10 unless you had a good reason, which involves more than a PF 5-bet. |

Physical description would be a 55ish y.o. Filipino gentleman who appeared to be a regular. After further play it turns out that he was loose and passive.

Re: live 5/10-Mr. C gets 5 bet with KK
No, I don't think this is a WA/WB type hand. I'm still not convinced that betting the flop is necessarily ev+ after getting 5-bet, but certainly calling down and b/f the river makes no sense to me. Ultimately, I think this comes down to whether the villain was tilting or not. The question is whether the likelihood of tilt (given he was a regular, not a tourist) was worth the pot odds.
Given the responses to this post, I am now leaning toward the idea that B/F the flop was probably the way to go. |

lethe, if you're committed to showdown, c/c c/c b/f spews a bet and, well, doesn't get to showdown. just c/c c/c c/c for same price.
i would do a little something on the flop however to see where i am. |

BBB is right. The pot is too big to check and fold. Throw in a raise on the flop or turn to see what he does.
