If the guy has a draw then he will bet the turn hoping you fold and then you shut him out.

yeah this is good - obviously he has QQ here but still good hand

I really don't like C/R on the turn on this board, could someone explain that too me?

[/ QUOTE ]

a turn bet from hero looks pretty powerful, so villain will (presumably) fold a lot of the 1 pair hands that he'd probably bet to protect on the turn if he were checked to

an extra bonus is when he thinks he's committed to call with top pair and a gutshot, etc...

[/ QUOTE ]

cool, thanks

haha you got 4000 posts and need to be explained this one?

is calling a 3bet cold pf, pretty standard? Aren't we afraid of being squeezed here? I agree with every other street.

Don't be a douche, noob. AL's spent most of his time on shorter-stack forms of poker where the issues are different.

flop lead multiway v standard, turn lead is vv strong as gardo said, so check

why do you say he has qq here? could be plenty of hands weaker than an overset

I like c/r on the flop but if I lead flop I would 2 barrel usually, unless opponent was very aggro
