Re: No wonder there aren\'t as many fish
Can't use a credit card. Not accepted.
_______________________________________ I risk getting on a rant about socialized services, but I'll try to be brief. Medicine is the trickiest example, because there should be a minimum standard of care. However, people make choices that affect their health and that should impact the level of coverage they receive. For example, why should I subsidize someone who smokes or doesn't exercise and puts on excessive weight? Both of those groups are going to cost more to care for in the long run. Government social programs need to be simple for the bureaucracy to manage and it's about one size fits all. There are smarter ways to approach things, but political interests will always get in the way of doing the right thing. |

Why don't people just use credit cards? I don't understand. [/ QUOTE ] Well, personally, I wouldn't do it unless I was guaranteed that it would be treated as a purchase, i.e. I wouldn't get charged a huge cash advance fee. I tried finding out what cards worked this way with which sites, but the 2+2 Conspiracy theorists were sure that revealing this information on a public forum would result in the Feds shutting down online poker, or something. |

[ QUOTE ] As one of the biggies, PS has always been one of the toughest sites. [/ QUOTE ] Tight doesn't mean tough. [/ QUOTE ] Sure, but you can't argue that there isn't a general correlation with tightness/looseness and the profitability of a site. Everyone says "ohh you can beat rocks!" You could drive a car with your feet, but that don't mean its to be done! |
