Yes, the LRR thing has been done here before and it may be selective memory on my part, but I've seen more monsters than garbage in this situation. That being said, I'm not folding just because someone LRR and shows aggression post flop. I'm calling him down.

cap preflop, seriously go to PT look at all the times you ahve KK, and people raise or reraies you preflop, and see how many times they have AA. Its 4 handed, you lose at least .5BB by not capping.
Flop become difficult b/c you didn't cap, he could just be cont bet because he has momentum, or he has the ace. I prob raise like you. CC by the CO on this board scares me. I would prob call the river, fold if had been checket to CO, UTG call and overcall to you. |

Hi tehox,
I don't have PT so I don't know those kinds of stats. In general, I'd rather try to learn how to play than look at the stats. The flop was a tough decision for me, but I don't think capping preflop would have made things easier. |

This isn't a WA/WB hand. There was another caller on the flop!

Can we really be WA/WB in a four-way pot? [/ QUOTE ] Yes. The extra outs provided by multiple 2-outers are way offset by the extra money going into the pot. Also about the "LRR is only a monster so much of the time" thing, that dataset didn't take position into account. An overlimp/lrr is more likely to be bs than what happened in OP. Still people will overplay Axs/other pairs in this fashion so you still have a cap multiway. If you were afraid he had AA too often to cap preflop then the flop raise is nonsense. |
