Default Postflop Facing a limp-reraise with KK

I made a move on the flop because the Ace on the flop makes it look less likely that limp-reraiser has AA (but I'm still behind AK). Then when the CO cold-calls the flop, I'm not sure what the play is from there going forward?

Raising that flop is definitely the worst play. Cap that [censored] preflop.

generaly a limp-re-raise is always something stupid (perhaps it's AA, KK, AK like 10% of the time)

on the flop ... what better hands are you trying to fold?

lol ... retard sucks out with J9

caping the flop has no value because you are not getting anything to fold there. ALSO CAP PREFLOP!

I think your river call was worse than your turn check.

Why did you call the river, but not bet the turn?

Am I right in my reasoning:-

He definitely should have capped PF- he's more than likely ahead the great majority of the time?

On the flop- he's either WA or WB. The fact that he raises the flop can only mean he thinks he WA and he's betting for value?

If he thinks that on the flop, then he has to be consistent on the turn and bet- likewise on the river too?

The fact that he checks the turn, means he has had a change of heart and thinks he may actually be WB? (CO can't have an A, or he would have bet?)

Now he gets to the river and villain bets. Hero calls- why? He is still either WA or WB. The signs are all pointing to WB now- that's the conclusion Hero had come to on the Turn?

So it all comes down to "I just wanted to see and make sure"?

I would grateful if the more experienced posters could comment on if my line of analysis / thinking is generally along the right lines. This will hopefully help me and the OP.

It's good that your thinking about what your opponents have and what not but at .05/.10 don't over think it. I'm going to go against PB and say you should respect a LRR from an unknown more. In my experience it is more often a monster a not. When the A hits the flop you want a cheap showdown so call it down ui, if it is two to you at any point fold.

Not to be too results-orientatered, but UTG+1's shutdown after Hero's flop raise basically rules out AA.

There's been analysis done on this, and if I'm not mistaken 2/3 of all LRR'd hands shown down turned out to be crap, or at least not AA/KK. Granted, that's just what's been shown down, but versus an unknown there's no reason to assume that it's a monster a majority of the time.
