Re: Venetian Deep Stack Structure vs WSOP
[ QUOTE ]
There were 369 players (paying 40) for the Sunday $1K and I was out 17th around 7 pm on Monday. There was only a 1 hour dinner break so we went through 12 levels to get from 369 players to 36 for day 1. [/ QUOTE ] Did you go until 2 a.m. like the schedule says on the first day? How many were left at that point? |

I had heard from someone that a tournament a couple of days earlier that had a few more people played past 2 am to around 2:30 am because they wanted to play down to the money. |

Re: Venetian Deep Stack Structure vs WSOP
Yeah, I'd heard that they'd got down to the FT in one, came back the next day, argued about a chop for an hour and never played a hand. Guess they had all night to figure out how much they should get.

Re: Venetian Deep Stack Structure vs WSOP
The $540 last Thursday had 562 entries and at 2AM there were 10 players left. At 1:30AM there were like 17 players and things went crazy with people getting knocked out right and left before we quit. They only play nine handed at this point so we were technically not at the final table with ten people left.
