PS for all the fools coming up with examples like "if you accidentally put 5k on blackjack when you meant to put 5" and analogizing so that this poor kid is the player and "ifihaditall" is the house... first of all ifihaditall is NOT the house because he can make the decision to be compassionate. and 2nd, i can make a similar analogy like... if ur in the parking lot and find a blank checkbook, you should go bankrupt somebody... after all, they made a mistake and as a poker player your job is to capitalize on mistakes.

imo the other guy should have agreed to cancel the whole thing and just play someone else. If not for him losing money that night he probably would have agreed to it, but this was free money for him..

Wow. Look at coolmeod's sharkscope, and then look at the other guy's. Dude, you should've just played him and smoked the [censored] out of him.

But you have3 no moral obligation as you do with the chequebook example. He has entered a game where it is agreed $5K is at stake.
Whether he meant to or not is irrelevant.

If some guy starts going nuts before the tournament even starts about making a mistake, and offers to pay me back the vig I lost on the entry fee how could you not cut the guy a break.

You just got like $50 worth of FPP for nothing. I would do this all day long and have an Anston Martin in a month.
