Don't forget that another reason in favour of betting is general randomisation of play postflop, even on a dangerous looking board. You shouldn't consider a hand like this in isolation.

[/ QUOTE ]

There should be hands you check in this situation, right? Or do you bet all your hands?

Doesn't betting hopeless hands and good hands randomize enough?

If he pushs you have a ~0EV decision.

He raise/call from UTG and has very tight stats! => He reraley have a Jack here! 3 Combinations for AJs and most of the time he fold this hand.
I donīt see any better hand folding! So a semibluff is senseless...

=> easy c/c

Seems very standard C-Bet or possibly go for a CRAI, but most of the time I'll just bet out and take it down, you can never fold this flop.

We are betting here because we have good equity in the pot, C/C is terrible, do you think we are getting paid if we improve, either the board looks like 9TJQ, or (8)9JQ(K) what is paying us off except for trips/ 2 pair hoping to fill up on the River, this is a very easy bet or CRAI expecially given our stack size.

Flop bet seems awfully big. This board either hit him hard or scared the bejesus out of him.

Do you have seen his PFR?

I think that he rarerly calls. He plays most hands in his range fit or fold.

I put him on a range : 99+,AQs, AKo.
Only AK is folding and AK folds to a bet and to a checkraise...And only AQ is calling.

AK isn't going to be putting any more money into this pot unless he hits a 10 anyway, it's such a bad flop for him to take a stab on that I don't think he will, and so IMO it doesn't really matter about extracting money out of those hands, AQ will call or push, either is fine, if he calls the flop we're pushing the turn anyway. There'll be ~400 in the pot and roughly 300 to go, he *might* (a very small %) fold AA or KK and could very easily fold AQ to that bet, it would be a pretty sick call and once the board doesn't pair on the turn if he calls we will always have outs.

Just realised I seem to have missed the point you were making...

I know his range is tight but it's either C/F (which I hate) CRAI or bet out, because no matter what he has, we will always have some equity in the pot and since we're not playing a Full Buy-In and the size of the pot, it's a 2 bet hand and we can't really play through the streets to find out what we need to know. I just really dislike C/C'ing. Is how would we play AA, KK, QQ, JJ, 99, to C/C ?? With all those hands (except KK) I want AA, etc. putting their stacks in. And so I play the same way with 1010 here. Metagame probably is irrelevant at this level, unless we have history with the player, but I like to keep my game consistent, usually there'll be a few observant players at the table that will note this. And pay off my sets later.
