You do not have absolute position. The big blind does since you must act before him.

Which stats do you think are more likely to apply to a player in a head's up game:
20/12 or 60/20?

VPIP/PFR from pokertracker(see faq in this forum)...Essentially "how many hands played"/"how many hands raised PF".

If you are out of position postflop (e.g., it folds around to you in the SB), definitely fold.

If this is heads up and you are the button, the decision seems pretty close to me with these stack sizes. It depends on how he plays postflop. For example, if he is super weak-tight and you are making all your money by stealing every pot postflop, then the strength of your hand isn't really very important anyway since there will so rarely be a showdown. You could profitably limp in there.

You might even raise to build a bigger pot to steal later against some opponents who fold way too much postflop. For example, if the guy will fold to your continuation bet on the flop 75% of the time, then you make the most money by raising preflop and betting the flop and taking it down. (Obviously, you also get lucky once in a while and make a hand).
