Re: Cunningham: Not Beating...Joining?
I think there is at least a chance that the 200 was actually 2000 and a mistprint which makes it a semi-bluff which i like.

Re: Cunningham: Not Beating...Joining?
Rushmore,
To answer your question more seriously. My guess is that a guy like AC is more interested in maximizing his chance of winning a bracelet, rather than maximizing his expected profit for the tournament as you or I most likely would. Given that assumption, a 'go big or go home' strategy might make more sense for him. |

Re: Cunningham: Not Beating...Joining?
Eh, could of been a sick read by AC... knew he had a flush draw, which he probably had dominated. Just didn't expect a random pair.

Re: Cunningham: Not Beating...Joining?
Pretty good chance. There's also the chance that by "under
the gun" the reporter meant "cutoff." |

[/ QUOTE ] If you're saying that is exactly what happened (that he was in the CO and that his turn bet was 2K), then it all makes sense now, and I can stop fretting about some virulent strain of imbecilitis infecting pretty much everyone in poker these days. |
