While PFR may check the turn 1 of 3 people will usually find a reason to bet and most of those scenarios will be at least as good as hero's donk.
[ QUOTE ] There are lots of reasons to 3-bet the flop. One of them is that it makes the turn easier to play. Lead if you hit, check if you miss. [/ QUOTE ] On the other hand, it lets your opponent bet when you check to them on a brick and flat call if the turn brings the flush and you're still betting. They get more information than you do here. |

I think I would check-raise that flop. You know UTG is going to bet, so you could trap some additional bets that way. But what if UTG three bets?
Check-raising the flop may also camouflage your your flush draw. When you lead on the turn as it is now, it screams that you completed your flush. |

I dont get it:
1. I call this PF all day. Nice call, OP! (Getting 5-1 plus implieds might not be enough for a flush draw, but it is enough for a flush draw with an ace.) 2. I raise this flop all day. The only worry is that BB will not come along for the ride, but there is not really too much equity lost when losing him. |
