How to collect the biggest pot?

CDpoker
Texas Hold'em Limit $1.00/$2.00
full ring

Hero is sb with A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

preflop:
UTG calls, EP2 calls, 4 folds, CO raises, button folds, hero(SB) calls, BB calls, utg 3-bets, EP2 calls, CO calls, hero calls, BB calls(15 small bets)

I'm pretty sure this was a good call, I knew I had some callers behind me, the reraise was a little unexpected.

flop:
6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Hero(sb) bets, BB calls, UTG raises, CO calls, Hero calls, BB calls (11,5 big bets)

I probably should have raised for value here.
But maybe I was hoping for some turn raises if a club fell or something.

BB is 48/4.8/1 for 21 hands
utg is 7/7/1 for 14 hands
co is 29/14/3 for 49 hands

turn:
T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

hero bets, BB folds, utg calls, co calls

river:
3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

hero bets, utg calls, co calls

What is the ideal line to milk these guys?
And was it a good preflop call?

PF is questionable but not horrible. You're getting 6:1.5 with the option of 8:1.5 and I think that's good enough if you know what to do with your hand postflop. LRR of UTG isn't sexy, but once you called the first time, you call now again.

Flop is good (3betting doesn'T do a lot because it commits you on leading the turn which you might not want an you dont actually have an edge anymore), turn is terrible. Part of why not 3betting the flop is good is, that UTG will follow up here 100% of the time. So you can c/r and trap them for two.
River is ok.

I fold preflop. Flop is good. c/r turn, wtf. River is good, obv.

I think I should have rr the turn, but maybe I was thinking of some flush hands in the past that were checked through on the turn when I tried to trap them.

But I see now that that scenario would be very unusual with this flop action.

Thanks

DONT c/r turn wtf?

this is all perfect.

folding preflop the first time is not too bad either.

Uh . . . no. He won't. He might, but many players will fear the flush draw coming in and freeze up.

I agree the preflop call was too loose in the sb.
In the bb it would be ok right?

Re: How to collect the biggest pot?

At .25/.50 most BBs are calling most raises pre-flop so calling this in the SB is not going to be that bad because you are going to end up with 4 other people in the pot and it's going to be easy to play, especially after the LRR. In the BB with 3 people in it's an auto call.

At 1/2 it is probably closer to a fold.

should we c/r the turn more? or lead out more?

Re: How to collect the biggest pot?

There are lots of reasons to 3-bet the flop. One of them is that it makes the turn easier to play. Lead if you hit, check if you miss. 3-betting doesn't commit you to anything. Even if you check call the turn and they put you on a flush draw, it's not like they wont pay you off on the river with an overpair if you hit there.
