Thanks all for your help. I felt like the CO picked up two pair on the turn. When I improved to top two pair on the river, I felt like my check-raise was the way to go. Bad result unfortunately.

Results in white below:
Hero has Qd Ks (two pair, kings and queens).
CO has 7s 7c (three of a kind, sevens).
Outcome: CO wins 15 BB.

If you are going to c/r the river, would leading the river be a better play? If you are willing to put two bets in on the river, would it be better to nullify the three bet?

Easy river raise.
What are you afraid of? A set? Maybe. But pay him off.
A straight? Pfft. Look at what combos form a straight and which combos would play this way.
Much more likely, however, are some worse two-pair hands (which OTOH would make your turn call marginal, but thats a different animal, because you would need some reads/stats here. But against default, turn call is fine I think)
3bet, you call obv.

The problem is you're almost as hosed against a single raise as you are against a 3bet but you deny yourself 1BB most of the time you are ahead.
