Motor city casino in detroit. Ocassionally they run 10/20 NL, but 5/10 NL is the regular "big game" and both he 5/10 NL and 10/20 NL are uncapped.

wtf i read high stakes to see durr win 80k with 4th pair not to see you bet fold top 2 pair in a limped pot and consider folding runner runner trips while playing with scared money. it would be pushing it to post this in mid stakes.

[ QUOTE ]
One of the reasons I folded in hand #1 was that I have called off all my chips in a situation like far too many times and lost... I felt that MOST of the time if I make that call I would be wrong.

Your logic is flawed here and shows a lack of fundamental poker basics.

hand 1- turn fold readless calling here is terrible IMO unless opponent is a donkey or will make some tricky plays like that

hand 2- ur line is ok... with 100BB stacks i'd shove becuz I think there's a decent chance he would be makin a play or turning a mediocre hand into a bluff (becuz he c/r flop) like 44 a6 or somethin.

I think AZK should update the HSNL FAQ. No 5--10 hands, especially 5-10 live hands.

And there should be some kind of system wherein people can become 'accreditted' or something. It doesn't make much sense to prohibit people from posting without passing a test, but I think putting something official beside people's names who are actually winning high stakes poker players would have two good effects:

1) People can ignore bad advice
2) People will be deterred (via embarassment) from cluttering up this forum with bad advice.

Now back to lurking/occassionally posting in SSNL for me.
