I agree with gobbo and everyone else saying c/r the flop. Even if he only calls with better hands(which he doesn't) we still need to protect our hand from overs.
His flop bet looks like he is weak and is trying to c-bet without commiting himself. |

Arrrrrgh gross. Yeah probably just c/r and hope he doesnt have AA,KK QQ.
What I hate about betting for information is that we more often than not fold out MP2s low pocket pairs A9+ when it goes bet and raiser just flat calls/raises. Not to mention how often we do this, it looks like a probe bet, and UTG goes all in repping an over pair. WHat are you guys doing if it goes check, bet and MP2 calls? Im almost always inclined to raise. |

[ QUOTE ]
His bet size is more indicative of a weak hand (overs, small pair) that it would be of a strong hand. People instinctively bet smaller with their weak hands and always fold to a raise when they have the lead (in my experience). I would raise, because there's 2800 in the pot and he's playing only about 4500. If he's a bit deeper, it's obviously just a call, but with how shallow he is a raise is good. [/ QUOTE ] I like this reasoning with like a 3.5kish stack. I think at around 4k it becomes a call. |
