Taking money from others without providing a service should not make you feel good and only evil people would think gambling for a living is ok.

I want to make sure you don't misinterpret this, so I'll just use 3 words:

Go f*ck yourself.

Must be getting levelled here surely. How could somebody who thinks gambling for a living is evil rack up 316 posts on a poker forum?

Why do ppl always tend to overcomplicate this stuff. Here's what I said:

"I quit."

Do you think anyone really gives a [censored] whether you'll be there or not?

I don't really think that this guy has a quandry on his hands here. I think that he gets a kick out of telling people that he's going pro. Makes him feel cool. Then there is the attention that he gets from this thread. Someone with the emotional fortitude to play poker professionally and succeed does truly have the quandry that is posed here.

If your gonna play professionally I hope you have done some math and also hope youll play mostly live???

You don't have to tell work anything. The day they don't have work for you, do you think they will come up with a story for you?

No they will just send you home. To be on good terms requires a 2 week notice. Type up a one or two sentence note and turn it it.

"I resign" usually covers it. Typically, most places will just relieve you then. Depending.

I hope you have at least 100k to start, and about another 50 to support shlt. Plus living expenses covered for at least 6 months.

Good luck.
