I don't see any hands doing this, specially the check on turn. Did you try to steal passive pots in position earlier, so villain could think you'll try to steal on turn or river ?

If he had A3, he would have shoved since you mentionned he did earlier. 67 may be a possibility, but again, check on turn oO

I'd like to hope it's a situation where he thinks "he knows that you knows that he knows", and he makes a strong bet to get you away from it.
