actually waiting for better spot is a valid arguement because once you lose your 300bb stack vs the fish, you will be playing with 100bb stack. realize the long run concept of "as long as its +ev" doesn't really apply because the fish won't stay on the table for longer then few hours.

you have to figure out a way to maximize short term +EV and in this case it looks like waiting for better spot is the way to go.

This is a reasonable explanation for "waiting for a better spot"

I just dont know if a hyper aggro donk open shoves a huge hand here. Certainly low level thinking, but this guy isnt exactly thinking real deep IMO.

Anyone saying pick a better spot:

This isnt a donkament and im assuming jablue is very rolled for this game.

Picking a better spot cant really apply. It is implying that this spot is +EV, but that you dont want to take it because there will be bigger +EV spots in the future?

Terrible reasoning IMO.

Bah, maybe you are right. It IS full ring though. I think this actually hinges a lot on whether other people at the table 200bbs+, because the fish will obviously play a big pot soon, just depends on how many BBs he may lose

earlier he 4-bet me all in preflop with A4 I had AK.

villain is playing like %50-70 pots. Limping all the time. LAG as [censored]. Full ring. One hand he open shoved quick and took it d

Villain limps, has 14k. some guy raises to 250. I call with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]j[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] rest fold.

Flop J103 rainbow 850 pot.

Villain thinks 2 seconds and shoves.

other guy folds.

13k to me.

[/ QUOTE ]

Please god I hope you didnt call, so much beats you here or provides so many outs if he isnt made..

He pushed with 2 other players in the pot.......now even if he is absolutely CRAZY, what is his real range here against your pair Jacks with Ace kicker, 14k to win 14.8k here is a terrible bet to place.......

For the callers this reminds me of the tech stock betters who thought CISCO was a bargain on the way down cause it was half price.....

You sound like a smart thinking kid, use your SKILLS over the large run to make EV and wait for this psycho when you can trap him more solidly..........
