i think OP's line is fine.

pushing over the min bet is betting $40 into a $22 pot (as it is when he has the option of pushing) is not, i feel, a good move.


merely calling the turn bet is obviously +EV.


is raising the turn more +EV than merely calling? I suspect so - you have fold equity, and the pot is bigger when you hit your draws etc.

In my experience, oppponents who take this line are usually not folding. I'm not saying he is that strong, just that he probably wont fold.

I'd just call an evaluate river.
