Default Re: NL100 flop OESD and get min c/r, 100+ BB deep?

Anyways, without further adieu, here's the results..

UTG folds, MP raises to $4.00, Hero raises to $11.00, 3 folds, MP calls $7.00

Flop: ($23.50) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players)

MP bets $75.00, Hero raises all-in to $307.40, MP calls all-in for $40.65
Uncalled bet of $191.75 returned to Hero

River: ($326.80) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players - 2 All-In)

Pot Size: $326.80 ($3 Rake)

MP had A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (two pair, Aces and Sevens) and LOST (-$162.65)
Hero had T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (a straight, Seven to Jack) and WON (+$161.15)

Talk about misplaying AK? I think I would definitely raise it to about $54 on that flop with AKs if I was that guy.

Is that pic of Maradoni :P? I do have theory of poker, but I just tend to not put all them complicated theories to use because either my balls are too small, or I just sometimes think I will get better spots to get the money in being more of a favorite since I tend to multi table alot.

Yes, it's Maradona, the greatest football player of all times.

You talked about getting the money in being more of a favourite but if you fold in spots like that you're leaving a lot of money in the table. There's no such thing as waiting for a better spot in cash games, every one of those mistakes cost you money and you should know how to calculate odds if you want to be successful at NL100.
