This obviously doesn't restrict the wins to stacking as they may be 3 or more handed.

[/ QUOTE ]

True but you prolly stacked more than one person some hands as well. Sweet when that happens!

I have been stacked about 4 times in my last 5k hands (nl 25 ).

AA vs KK preflop (2 times)
TT vs JJ preflop (maniac had JJ)
KK vs set on Q high 2 flush flop
A9 bluff raise on river.

Isura,
I don't mean to be insulting but how can you have almost 5K posts and still be playing 25NL?

32 stacked them versus 22 they stacked me (although some of my stackings aren't true stackings because I covered villian)

So what is the optimum ratio? Obviously nobody likes to be stacked but isn't 5:1 a little nitty? Not that I'm suggesting my ratio of 2:1 is preferable but what do people think

i've had six set over sets this week and every time i was on the low end. only two of those was i bottom set on the flop. the most painful was probably this one.....

i know the flop raise was kind of weak, but i put him on two pair or bottom set and figured he might come back over top. thus the turn ace didn't bother me....

Just checked and my stats look like (for 50nl):

Wins Over $30: 30
Loses Over $30: 17

Wins Over $40: 19
Loses Over $40: 12

Wins Over $50: 10
Loses Over $50: 6

Over this ~10k hand stretch I'm only at .4PTBB/100. Not really sure what this says about my play, as it's not a real sample size. I don't know if the small diffrence in big pots I've won is a reassuring thing or not, make it seem like I'm not running to well though.

It can be pretty profitable/not hard thinking required when playing 10 tables. I still did it a couple months ago for about 1/3 of my table time.

Basic stats over ~11,000 hands at a variety of limits:

Stacked someone 84 times
Got stacked 19 times
Ratio of ~4 - 1

More detailed:

Stacked a full buyin 35 times
Stacked a short buyin 49 times
Got stacked a full buyin 19 times
Doubled up a shorter buyin 22 times

I used the 80% ratio to determine a 'full' buyin. My winrate over these hands is about 13 BB/100 hands. Hope this helps.

Default Re: Stacked to Got-Stacked ratio?

I stacked them 45
They stacked me 32

Also, I usually stack them for more than I have been stacked for. I've been stacked once for 43, 34, 32 and all the rest are under 28, while I've stacked for 5x 40-50 and 12x 30-40. Like someone else said, some are because more than 1 person was involved in the pot.

This is after 19,000 hands of 25NL 6max and only counting +/- of 23+.

edit: Actually, I don't think I did this right. I just sorted by pot size in game notes tab.
