Default Stacked to Got-Stacked ratio?

Any of you keep score on this? I don't really mean long term, necessarily, so much as either a running count from time to time or a general ratio. I'm a limit hold'em player just returning to NL, and am amazed at how often people will pay with their stack just to look someone up. In fact, I'm so curious that I'm going to keep track for a short while just to see what my "ratio" is over a few thousand hands. If I had to guess, I'd say 5:1, but maybe that's a little on the high side...

I looked at PT for hands for losses and gains >80% buy-in. I'm about 2:1.

Recently I've been running about 1-to-80. It hasn't been a good month.

Sorry to hear that man. I really enjoy reading your posts... clear to me you're thinking about the game about 900x more than nearly any opponent you'd normally see in a SSNL game.

Using this methedology, I'm 5.5:1 over the last 4K hands. Nice to run hot every now and then, I guess. 9PTBB/100 over the same stretch. I don't think either stat is anywhere near sustainable. The games I'm playing are insanely soft, however (NL$50), and coming in from 10/20 6max limit hold'em, I feel really free to really sling chips when necessary, givent the smaller sums involved.

Hi MisterKing,

I asked this a couple of weeks ago I think and started marking it down in my poker notebook so I have numbers! I only play 2-3 hours a day and single table so that's why these numbers may look low ...

Stacked full buyin opponent - 11 times

Stacked shorty - 14 times (avg 38% of a buyin)

Got completely stacked - 5 times

Shorty doubled through me - 7 times (avg 38% of a buyin on this one too)

Go to Preferences. Select a limit and all dates. I only did it for $100NL. Then go to Game Notes and hit the Get All button. Hit the "Pot" tab to sort by pot size and count your winners and losers.

Go into PT, select your stats, and then click on the "game notes" tab. Then select "Get all" at the upper right, and then click the "net" column. This will display every hand you've ever played, sorted by how much you won or lost. If you have hands from many different stakes, you might want to go into "preferences" first and filter by the specific stakes or game typle (NL) you want to measure.

Awesome, thanks very much. I was looking at so many to count I did net win/loss $90+(100NL FR).

Win 42
loss 31

This obviously doesn't restrict the wins to stacking as they may be 3 or more handed.

Note: I feel I've been running bad over this stretch of hands.
