The new 2p2 really threw me off, so quick all encompassing update. Diet was standard except for friday (drinking) and sunday (easter dinner w/ family).

Training has been mostly bodyweight stuff/plyos, but I did some weights yesterday.

Yesterday looked something like:
CGBP:
155x8
185x5
205x3
225x3
225x3

upright rows w/ rope:
4x10 (sorry dont remember weight)

OH Squat:
95x20
135x20
135x20
135x10 I did these randomly in between the other exercises

DB bench/flye thing: 50s (too light for the bench but allows me a proper negative on the flye, ill remember to stay ~ this weight from now on)
3x10

supersetted with
elbow out DB extensions
50s
3x8

did some ab work and random pullups (got 1 set of 5 and hte rest were triples). im gonna try to learn the kipping variation after seeing the link in smiley's log. anything to improve my pullup strength, 5 is pretty sad.

today is my brother's birthday, just bodyweight stuff and grip work.
woke up an hour ago, no food yet.

Wu,

The kipping pullup the guy in that video is doing is really bizzare and I'd never seen it before. It's obviously effective as he is really fast, but it looks a lot more difficult than standard kipping.

Here's a video sort of explaining how to do them. If you are tall and lanky like me the more full swing gymnastic style are easiest, while if you are short and stocky the "frog kick" way will probably be better. Either way if you want more kipping info there are lots more videos on the crossfit website.

I took a long break from poker then came back and dropped 10 buyins in just over a day, hence the no posting.

My training partner managed to injure himself in a rather bizarre fashion (see medieval times thread in bbv). So no really heavy weights recently or in the near future.

I've mostly been doing crossfit stuff/plyos and working on my kipping pullups (thanks for the link smiley).

Finally, my digi cam from stars got here so I'll take some pictures today or tomorrow.

But yeah, I'm still alive.
