i dont think anyone has ever debated if it can be profitable. the point i was making is that by sitting out all the time, you arent seeing any hands, thus neither is profiting. i dont see how this is an endorsement for short stacking. i cant wait for 6 months from now avg stack is gonna be 25-30x.

both shortstacking and check raising are within the rules. its the exact same thing. if all the regulars didnt know how to adjust to flop checkraises, there could be a boycott thread just like this. dont hate the player hate the game

adjust your preflop opening range and your calling range against them = PROFIT.
the value in shortstacking comes from donks like twin or h@ll who raise A7o from middle position and call all-in with it. surprise surprise the shortstack has AK

i dont mind the shortstacks that much, because i can adjust and almost all of them have bad pushing ranges. that beeing said i still would welcome if the sites would raise the min buyin to 50bb or something.
