[ QUOTE ] I dont know, but when i hear ppl say i made 1k last month off them it surprises me. [/ QUOTE ] Not realy surprising. Say you play 6 max $25nl BB is 25c & you have a reasonable win rate of 10BB/100. $1000 winnings would be 40K hands/month. Thats only 25hrs/week 4 tabling. [/ QUOTE ] this is still so ridiculously easy its not even funny. beating micro/small stakes does takes alot of patience and discipline, you cant make many moves and you often dont have alot of folding equity(if they have anything at all), so dont try to force things. take them to valuetown. theres not much of a need to push thin edges because you will simply have so many spots where you can get the money in so far ahead. its so easy to let them hang themselves. i find when i really try to fight over small pots with mediocre hands its just a lost cause at ssnl, you definitely shouldnt c-bet as much when you whiff flops, except in position and on ragged boards |

[ QUOTE ]
I limp alot, joining the others looking for them implied odds. [/ QUOTE ] You might want to try playing a bit tag-ger. Cut your limps down to almost zero. Any pot you enter should be for a raise of 3-4xbb +1/limper. If you're uncomfortable raising the hand you have in the position you have, fold. Save your limps for times that you have a situation like 55 on the button and 2+ limpers before you, and you can play for set value. I really think this will drastically help your winrate. You'd be amazed how much a person spews postflop when he limps along with the herd preflop. I also agree with pzhon's post, especially the part about not feeling bad about posting in the beginner's section. The sooner you drop your ego and come to terms realistically about your skill level, the better. Nobody was born a poker savant. It takes work, patience, and objectivity. Good luck! |

Thx for the good advice, especially Mick...
What i understand is that i have to rock it up even more. Il try this but it seems like il be hardly playing a hand... Maybe only 10%... As for my ego, i was only annoyed that my threads got locked twice then moved because they were 'banal', when i feel that this dying fish situation is true: http://pokerzoneforums.co.uk/main/vi...amp;highlight= Also can i ask what sites u find so many fishes on? |

Ive just checked my results and it turns out i am making 10 BB an hour.... (after a good 30k+ hands)
Some say this is unsustainable, either way my slow rising profits must be down to limited hour input. |

Xylem,
10PTBB/100 is sustainable at the lower micro stakes. Sounds like you are finding the micro games nice and profitable. What was the original question? |

The question was where are all the fish/ how do u beat them and are they as plentiful as previously thought.
The basis for it was the lack of maniacs ive found online. I believe manics come and go but they are slowly going broke, until there wont be a significant amount of them. Also i didn like the rocks that play the same if not more LDP than me. My rate was 10BB an hour though so my profits must just be slow due to hour input. My point still stands aswell though, that i NEED good cards to win at this level. |
