nutfloppa: sent. Dunno how often I'll check this thread since I'm only a part-time a Zoo-lurker, and this thread really wasn't about the data end of things. I don't want to hijack, so shoot me a PM if you need info on the data end of things that you can't find out by searching CTH posts.

Bkkdude,

I'm in the same boat as you here in Bangkok. I want to open up an offshore account that is not in Thailand (since we can't), but don't know the legitimate from the illegitimate. Any information on this would be much appreciated. Bkkdude, if I find anything out, I'll PM you. Please do the same.

Sorry to dredge up this old thread, but I've been on the sidelines for a couple of months now and I'm assuming the state of the art has advanced considerably since the latest U.S. crackdown.

Anyone have any advice for a casual U.S. player who wouldn't mind getting back in the online game? I'm starting to go stir crazy....

This an interesting thread.

In light of the question posed in the opening post, I keep trying to figure out the precise process by which the UIGEA will be enforced. Anyone care to speculate?

Start your research here:

www.ptshamrock.com
www.ayoc.com

Anonymous ATM & Credit Cards, off-shore, european bank accounts, etc.

It's pretty easy in Canada, you just have to physically go to a canadian bank to open it. You'll need a valid passport and another picture ID.

What about Canadian residency and a Canadian address?

[/ QUOTE ]

Something like this (with even the original post) could go in the newly created Travel Forum.

I'm sure someone there could answer your question.

PS - The answer is hard. I offer more specific advice in the aforementioned forum.

Met, is this a restricted forum? I get an access denied error.

Thanks,

Unfortunately 2+2 axed the travel forum after a few days of its opening.
