Re: The Soundtrack To Your Untimely, Tragic Death
I'm surprised nobody has mentioned this yet... "Adagio for Strings" composed by Samuel Barber. For those unfamiliar, it is the song played in the movie Platoon when Sgt. Elias (Willem Dafoe) is trying to fight off a bunch of VC as he's being left behind, which leads to the famous cover shot of the movie. The song fit perfectly.

It is also the music played throughout the David Lynch film, "The Elephant Man," most notably the scene at the end when David Merrick decides to take his own life by simply lying down in bed. Actually, a perfect choice. |

I love the song playing during the death scene at the end of Heat... it's "God Moving Across the Waters" or something like that.

Re: The Soundtrack To Your Untimely, Tragic Death
I can pretty much guarantee that the soundtrack to my untimely, tragic death will involve the ringing of my cell phone, unhappy words as I struggle to get it out of my pocket and the sound of my wife bugging me for some completely stupid and useless reason just as the tires screech and the final impact occurs.
