im not exactly saying that, but i think if you went ahead and did this you would be giving up minimal ev... stuff your could probably make back for several other reasons... basically i like shoving everything except my huge hands... and if you see that people are catching on... shove your huge hands occassionally too.

JJ is way to strong to shove here IMO. I don't like shoving AK either because you lose out on a lot of value from weaker aces. I think in practice I probably shove 77-88 only. And yeah, no one ever notices.

As played I probably fold even though I might have called a shove. That is unless I have a read villian is tricky OR a moron or he has something stupid in his stats. Vs. an average $114er this is almost always a higher PP, occasionally AK.

Pushing or raising to 250 and calling a push are both fine. If there are some high vpip guys behind me I'd most likely push as getting called and playing postflop can be difficult. I like the 250 raise in other cases as it gives you an out if 2 or more guys push behind you.

Keep in mind I haven't played sngs in a while so most of my 14bb play is in MTTS but readless I would never fold pf here.

The raise is good, the call is bad. You're well behind a typical range for villain in that spot and you've still got >10BBs if you fold. I'd open push if I was slightly less, like 11.5 BBs or less, but I like the 250 open.

I don't like the raise and call a push line.. I think that negates why we're raising to 2.5xbb in the first place (To still have room to fold and have >10BB's).. Of course read dependent, if there's some 40/30 guy I'm definitely getting the right price against his range.. most opponents I would fold to though
