I don't like the turn check either. I'm betting this 99% of the time for value. Villain potential holdings can be an Ace with a weaker heart kicker.

[/ QUOTE ]

But if villain has been making lots of plays at hero, doesn't betting the turn just put hero in a terrible situation if villain c/r....now hero has to make awful decision....is he making another play at me, or does he have the goods this time?

[/ QUOTE ]

it really wouldnt be that tough of a decision.

[/ QUOTE ]

can you explain why?

are you saying it is easy to fold or call if he c/r the turn?

often, i feel like these decisions become even more agonizing when i have folded a few hands, and someone keeps making plays at the pot. seems like i'll finalyy decide to look him up and he has the goods.

aces,

its a RR pot.. we have AK on Axx board against a guy that like to make lots of plays against hero, according to OPs read.. WTF?? ALL IN EVERY TIME, SON!!!!

checking the turn is ugly

phew, got to the bottom of the post and someone said it.

Seriously. 276 in the pot in 311 left in hero's stack with TPTK and nutflush draw. Seems like a push to me.

I dont like the check on the turn.you where giving him a free card to draw to. i think an all in was in order to protect your hand.you had the nut flush draw and two more aces in the deck that couldve givven you close to the nuts and that couldve got him to fold, saving you the pot.maybe im wrong. thats probobly how i wouldve played it.
