I considered a blocking bet on the river, however this player had raised me out of a few pots and I did not want to give him a chance to do it again. Plus I wanted to play a smaller pot, since my hand was only medium strength at best.

I called the bet and my hand was good. Opponent had a busted low straight draw and tried to buy it on the river.

Given the size of the bet this is usually either a really good hand or a bluff and not a value bet by AJ type hands. He isn't going to check the turn much with the flush IMO and KQ is unlikely to call the flop so I'm inclined to call here.
