I havent played at FT for a few months nor played 6max much lately.

Decided to clear a FT bonus at $25 NL 6 max.

When did the games get so tight?

Seems everybody playing at those games has stats like 25/18.

What happended to the 60/2 types?

Did they go back to full ring?

Everlong, donkeys and decent players are apples and oranges... donkeys can get away with their slowplays because of their aggressive tendencies. When a decent player shows no strength one street then a ton of strength at a later street anyone with a clue realizes something is up unless you are just a badass balanced LAG. Most tables I'm at won't let me get away with slowplays but if you are vigilant enough you can find some that do. Just make sure you always put the pressure on in any situation 8p

Table select better.. I haven't been playing tables with under a 30 VPIP avg and I don't have any problem finding games

Unlucky both times, but what is the deal with calling UTG raises with a speculative hand like 88 ??

Without a coldcaller ... nah .. usually I do not, as even with position it is going to be a pain to play postflop unless you flop a set

I might threebet it though, but I'm no fan of 3betting UTG raises ... if it was a CO raise, then a 3bet is automatic .... UTG+1 is playerdependant (as is UTG, but you get the drift)

any pair is an easy call there.. you're calling 3.5% of your stack with position.. and good implied odds.
