Re: Mirage 1/2 - All hell breaks loose on the turn
knicknut -
As people have said, your turn bet is very bad unless you were trying to bait a push. I would just call the turn bet, and c/c the river. If you're behind, you're WAY behind - and if he's making a play, the only way to get money is to let him bluff a little off. |

Re: Mirage 1/2 - All hell breaks loose on the turn
i smell bs btw, because, at the mirage, which is where i am RIGHT NOW the max buy in is 200 for 1/2 so that was a big lie.

[/ QUOTE ] Presumably villain meant that he'd already lost a few buy-ins, and so was involved for $700. This hand is so read dependent that it's impossible to give general advice. However, often you should 'beware of the speech' and be a little cautious when opponents start making comments before pushing. |

Re: Mirage 1/2 - All hell breaks loose on the turn
I agree with other posters, a LAG would raise pretty much any PP from the CO - so this excludes any set (maybe he just calls PF with 22, but he'd fold to your flop bet).
I find KT, QT, J9, and air to be likely here. So it is a call, especially since this is 1/2 live - where I've seen people make these moves with K9. |

Re: Mirage 1/2 - All hell breaks loose on the turn
call turn and suckout, speech tell = what he perceives as a nut hand.
by suckout i mean probably make a crying call for anything less than like 2/3 pot on the river. |

Re: Mirage 1/2 - All hell breaks loose on the turn
fwiw seeing results, he is getting 33:1 on his flop call to hit a what, 24:1 draw? something like that? just shows how careful you need to be in limped multiway pots.
