I honestly would fold JJ here in the heat of the moment. If it wasn't for how short we both were and this touranments fast structure i'd give even more serious consideration to dropping QQ here.
Still i really don't think theres many hands outside KK/AA he plays in this painfully obvious way.

If:
a) you think villian is a solid player b) you haven't been active, haven't showed down weak holdings after pf raises (haven't raised from utg yet)... c) the table is 9 handed then a thinking opponent should be able to put you on AQ+, TT+. So in turn, he's probably folding AQ, TT. -He'd probably be pushing vulnerable hands like JJ and AK The only hands he's re-raising that small(with those stacks) are AA/KK whenever i have AA/KK and someone 3x raises ahead of me, i'm always thinking how do i get all his chips in without screaming I have AA! Sometimes a push works against thinking players, while against most "non-thinking play their cards" players the small raise works because they can't get away from anytype of 'big hand' to a small raise w/o seeing a flop, even if that raise is screaming they're dominated. (if villian's creative, he could be being tricky w/AK, not wanting to define his hand, (making u think it's AA or KK, when he knows he's prob a coin flip at worse if u decide to play u're hand)

I fold JJ here to a tight opponent, honestly. QQ, uggghh, I think you have little choice but to shove, but I would hate it just as much as you.
