i have been a 31waist 32length for the last .... long time up until dec 15 i was 6'4 195lbs,im now 6'4 210 [/ QUOTE ] Do you wear your jeans like capris? I can't imagine how someone who is 6'4 could wear jeans that are only 32" long. I'm only 5'9" and I always wear 30 or 32 |

If you do exercises like squats or especially deadlifts, you can put on a lot of size in the lower back, without really seeing it either.
When I first got into deadlifts, I was happy to see the fat vanishing off my waist. At one point I pretty much had a six-pack. Putting on some pants that were just a little tight on me before, I had expected the ego reward of them feeling looser. No such luck. My lower back muscles took up all the room that my belly fat used to. So, weight lifters can be thick-waisted, without even being fat in the slightest. Oh well. For me, it's worth it, to be strong. |
