You can't be bluffing because people can't fold those hands.

Lol why would you try to bluff someone off of AQ, QQ+

b/c I really can't be bluffing.

But what are you repping after your flop call? It seems unlikely you have a 5 and nobody flops a full house w/99. You probably not floating OOP w/22, you don't have QQ. I'd pay you off all day here but what do I know.

Nothing really makes much sense MTBlue given how the hand went down. Hard to represent trip 5s if you're a tight player calling a raise from the blinds. 999 makes sense, but that's pretty much about it, I don't see you calling the flop with 22 as I think it would be pretty atrocious. There aren't any flushes or straights possible either. Dunno, just seems like a really poor bluff to me. It would be the sickest way to value bet one of the hands you're representing, and that's why I think it's a bad bluff.

I'd almost prefer if you did. Its not that big of deal. I'd be bluffing there enough that that fold doesn't have positive expectation. At the time I had no idea what Hero whether hero would call or fold, so I went with an optimal bluffing strategy. Really I don't care he loses either way.

Oh wait I get it. It's one of those "there's NO WAY he thinks I could be making a bluff THIS DUMB" plays.

So it's kind of like running a fake field goal when it's 4th and Goal from the one inch line when you are down by 6 points with 1 second left in the Super Bowl.

Optimal bluff strategy? This isn't real difficult. Anytime you can beat AQ, QQ, KK, or AA on a 5592Q board and play it like you did, you just win ALL the money. Anytime you can't beat 'em, you bluff off a stack. It's just that simple.

I don't know who you are/your image but with my history against him not betting that turn is absolutely terrible.

[/ QUOTE ]

looks like not betting the turn turned out to be very profitable in this situation
