flop 4 bet is pretty terrible. gave him like 3.2:1 on a call.

So what? A fd is a small part of his range, a pair of aces with 6 outs is a much bigger part and 9 outs after a non 2 turn

[/ QUOTE ]

AKo vs A3h 28.18:69.39 with 2.42 tie

im charging more then 3.2:1 if its possible im only a 7:3 favorite

You can't sim this. He's only paying for 1 card, if he's going to see 2 he need to pay with his whole stack just as he has to do when you push the flop. I'm a retard for not adding 3 outs for the counter feiting 4s, but 6 outs still isn't close to being capable of calling getting 3:1 even with implied odds.

You have a point though and I'm not saying raising to $36 is optimal.

If he calls the smallish 4 bet I think he prob calls a push - he started the hand with < 100BB's and it doesn't look as though he wants to get away from it. I'd rather just get my money in here when I am almost certainly ahead.

AJ maybe, but with this almost never. Way to often you are dominated by a bigger A and this flop wont happen enought to make it profitable

folding here is a mistake. we dont have to pay off if we flop a lone top pair. its multiway and were getting a great price. this is an easy call PF
