Really this is fairly interesting. This play has merit I agree. When you are running well you will win the max, and when you are running bad you should lose the max. If a blank falls and you are raised on the turn what is your plan, calling down unimproved?

is it just me or does no one in the thread realize you have a straight flush?

dont stop betting and hope someone does have the A of spades.

and i'd still bet/call the river. a ton of worse hands will call, and just as many worse hands might raise me on the river.

Bet/fold for sure. Not betting here is really missing on value imo. Also, I like that you just called the 3-bet on the flop, capping here is spewing against 3 other opponents.

Hey man, it's cool, don't let a little thing like that discourage you from some good weeknight drinking.

So, I bet the river, MP raised and the button folded. I didn't really expect my hand to be good but I also didn't see an obvious way for him to have the A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] so I figured it was a call in such a big pot. He had A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].

I take it my flop/turn plan was fine?
